Backstage Talk SBI · Situation–Behavior–Impact
Go beyond “be careful next time.” Describe what happened, then see how your partner acts next time.
This round's goal: Make empty-stage testing, an unexpected delay and the formal opening all work. Do not cancel useful preparation just to prevent an early cue.
Rehearsal conditions 1/3 · Restart keeps conditions; changing the scene changes them. Lighting checks must total no more than 6 seconds.
Choose a replay and form feedback → hear your partner → agree on an approach → rehearse three scenes. Revise as often as you like; no time limit.
The three clips happened at different times. Do not combine one clip's behavior with another clip's outcome as feedback.
Feedback for your partner
Choose the situation in the replays to the left, or above on mobile. Then select the behavior you saw and its impact.
[Choose the specific replay], [Describe the observed behavior]; [Explain the impact].
I'm listening. Identify the scene, behavior and impact first.
Agree on the next approach
Clear feedback does not guarantee an effective change. Keep what helps, then test three scenes.
Three scenes · Which need exceptions?
Set a general agreement, then make exceptions only where it does not fit. Trying both signals in sequence takes 4 seconds per scene; a voice cue or confirmation board takes 1. Adding checks everywhere may exceed the time limit.
Current agreement: Keep main lights on while waiting; Start using the old countdown.
Send the current feedback before rehearsing.
